It Takes a Village!

A dense group of people on the streets of Bali watching a procession

If you have read my first two posts, then you know I am in danger of sounding like I am accepting an award with all of my thanking (;-. (I hear the music playing, I think it is time for me to get off the stage, but I have more to say … and wait … I just remembered … this is my platform!)

It has been an important part of my journey to learn to ask for help and expressing gratitude for the help feels really important, too.

Big shout out to Adrial Dale who embodies an alchemy of design talent, technical skill, patience, gentle humor and a familiarity with the territory of my work. My husband, Ron (editor and supporter-in-chief), my son Zach, Jaguar Mary and Brian Stokes also gave me valuable input during the process. Ann Humphries and Julian Davis volunteered for the photo shoot. Jerry Levit, Kristine Kelsey and Gena Netten listened to versions of the meditation and offered feedback that helped me refine it along the way. Thanks, team!

“Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.”
